Studio Theatre, adjacent to the Harquail TheatreThe Cayman National Orchestra has delighted audiences since its inception by Sue Horrocks in 2002, when it was realised that there was an abundance of untapped musical talent in Grand Cayman.
Since then, the Orchestra has grown its membership immensely and today boasts an extraordinary line-up of superb musicians of all ages and backgrounds - all volunteers. The musical colour palette came alive in 2018 when a generous anonymous donor supplied the funds to purchase a complete set of professional orchestral percussion instruments.
The CNO is proud to support and inspire the youth of today - many seats being occupied by exceptional students under the age of 18 - by performing compositions by young composers and conducting Outreach Projects. The Orchestra continues to fill its library with varied professional scores with which to thrill its audiences, and we look forward to entertaining our community again soon.
The CNO is always keen to hear from talented orchestral volunteer musicians to fill the ranks. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings, 7.30 - 9pm in the Studio Theatre, adjacent to the Harquail Theatre
